Chocolate Brownie Bites

Brownie bites with chocolate chips

  • cup 1 all-purpose flour
  • cup three quarters SugarTwin® Granulated White
  • cup half cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • tsp 1 baking powder
  • tsp half baking soda
  • tsp quarter salt
  • cup three quarters semi sweet chocolate chips
  • cup quarter unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 large eggs
  • tsp 2 vanilla extract
  • cup two thirds unsweetened applesauce


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). 2. Mix together flour, SugarTwin®, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, baking soda and chocolate chips, set aside. 3. In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and applesauce. 4. Add flour mixture to egg mixture. 5. Stir batter until smooth. 6. Lightly grease an 8x8' (20x20cm) baking pan. 7. Spread batter in pan, smoothing top. 8. Bake for 15 minutes, or until batter is edging away from sides of pan and middle is slightly soft. 9. Let cool slightly and cut into 16 squares.
